Today, the 1st of September, the Free International University of Moldova inaugurates its first academic years 2017-2018 at the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac”. The Rector of ULIM, Academician Andrei Galben mentioned in his speech the importance of this beginning for the 1st year students in the context of big transformations of modern societies: Europeanization and Globalization. Andrei Galben wished good luck to the students and professors in the new academic year.

Ana Gutu, the First Vice-rector of ULIM, encouraged the new students to integer fully in the education process and in the multiple extracurricular activities, by which they will launch in international research projects and academic mobility.

Svetlana Rusnac, the dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Social Assistance, greeted cordially the 1st year students and encouraged them to be more curious and more perseverant in their life projects.

Iuliana Dragalin, the dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, remembered that 20 years ago, she crossed the threshold of ULIM, shy and uncertain, for being able to assume, today, the responsibility to manage one of the most prestigious faculties.

The graduates of ULIM, who came to greet the new students, said that they did not fail when they chose ULIM as institution for higher education, which will launch them in the life from the prospect of the highest standards of quality.

The International Students Council prepared a surprise – a cultural program of songs and dances, which enchanted the entire public.

Mrs. Svetlana Parmacli, the Director of Academic Support Office, read the ULIM’s enrollment order of students from 1st licentiate cycle and 2nd master degree cycle.

ULIM celebrates on October 16th, 2017 the 25th anniversary since the institution was founded.
